Oh How Time Flies

So as you all know from my previous post, it has been a while since I have even visited my blog. I know, "why start something if you can't keep it up." Mostly because it is something I want to do, but I am still working on all the logistics.

Spring is in full bloom here in Idaho, and gosh-golly is it beautiful. (Although my allergies don't agree). Our tulips, and daffodils have been amazing! Just look!

The blossoming trees reminded me of a song I sang in my college choir. The song is titled "The Long Road" it was composed by Eriks EÅ¡envalds.

The line goes:

"...like a flow'ring tree the world is blooming.
Overwhelmed, my heart both cries and laughs."

If you haven't heard this song I highly recommend it, even if it is a recording in Eriks native Latvian, the song is etherial, calming, and hauntingly beautiful.

The nature that is all around us is so precious and beautiful, but I find myself forgetting to stop and awe at is magnificence. When I do, I am surprised at how complex everything is.

Well that's all I have today. Write to you again soon!
